This is an in-depth retrospective of the works of Hitoshi Karasawa, long-time resident of Kamakura.
Karasawa has an outstanding reputation as a wood block print artist capable of detailed expressions. This exhibition will display a selection of 110 wood block prints from his career from 1971 to present day, along with collages, monotypes, objects, watercolors, sketches, and illustrations totaling 210 in number. It is an opportunity to fully enjoy the world of wood block prints, which was born in late 18th century England before arriving in Japan to great success.

Works will be shown in two parts:
Part One: October 28th - November 26th
Part Two: November 29th - December 24th
