Yasufumi Takahashi
Yasufumi Takahashi is a sculptor since the 1980s, and has been working in Japan, France, Canada, and the US. In 1995, he started playing with the theme of "body and world" and his creations are now voluminous works made of cloth, wood, steel, plaster, polyester, cardboard and other various materials.
In this exhibition, nine of his NY produced and prizewinning works are on display. Through his work, Takahashi asks existential questions and tries to define the relationship between the human body and the world.
