"Domani - Tomorrow" Exhibition

The agency of cultural affairs has been offering the artist-in-residence program, which allows young artists to train overseas, since 1967.
So far, over 2000 artists have been dispatched overseas, and many return to become active participants in both the domestic and international art world.
The "Domani- Tomorrow" exhibition began in 1998 to showcase the accomplishments of returned trainees. This year marks its 10th exhibition.
This year's exhibition is not structured according to Western/Japanese paintings or genre, but based on countries in which the residencies took place - 12 countries, 30 artists.
The countries are: England (4), Ireland (2), Belgium (2), Holland (1), Germany (3), Italy (3), Spain (3), Czech Republic (3), Poland (2), Romania (1), China (3), Thailand (3). Various works of Western/Japanese paintings, engravings, and contemporary art work will be shown.
