Noriyasu Fukushima
Noriyasu Fukushima has been a leading Japanese sculptor since the 1960s. He is reknown for his minimalistic, brighly-coloured geometric shapes that symbolize the climate of the times. In 1982, INAX Gallery held a private exhibition of his works.
This exhibition features his bronze oval-shaped sculpture "Mind of Universe", among others. This is an interactive exhibit, where the sculptures react to human touch by emitting various ringing sounds that, when in unison, sound similar to multi-layered church bells - somewhat reminiscent of times past.
The artist hopes that each viewer will interact with the objects and enjoy their own personal experience of becoming one with the resonating sounds.

The artist will give a talk on September 1st, 18:00-19:00. Entrance is free, with guests being seated first come first serve.
