Osamu Tezuka's Atom Boy and Sun Wukong Exhibition
This event has ended.
At Suginami Animation Museum
Media: Illustration, Film
This exhibtion received great critical acclaim when it was shown in Hangzhou and Shanghai this autumn. It questions what sources have inspired Osamu Tezuka's animation; while many point to Disney's "Snow White" or "Bambi", others say that the roots of his animation lie in Chinese influences. This show displays both Tezuka's work and the Chinese works that may have inspired him.
