All 'Living Things'

Taro Okamoto Museum of Art, Kawasaki
Finished

Artists

Taro Okamoto
Many 'living things' appear in Taro Okamoto's paintings- comical manga-like animals, blob-shaped bodies, and huge faces and eyes that take up the whole canvas.
Humorous, cute, or a bit strange - these living things, painted in vivid colors, express what went on inside Okamoto's head, from just after WW2 onwards.
