Artists

Naoki Koide
Tokyo based Naoki Koide (1968-) is a graduate of Tokyo Zokei University. His artwork consists mainly of sculptures using a kind of plastic called FRP, and photographs of those works. He has two main motifs - his family and friends, and imaginary animals. Deformations, smoky pastel color tones, and shiny matiere make up his style, one that is far from commercialized pop images.
Sculptures of couples at weddings, 3D works by his atelier colleagues, reliefs, deformed drawings, and wallpaintings will be displayed at this exhibition.
