Arman Music Exhibition

Hakone Open Air Museum
Finished

Artists

Arman, Hans Wegner
French born artist Arman's work consists of everyday consumer goods which have been broken down, crushed or stuck together, restructured into artworks. With this "assemblage" technique of his, he was able to express his cynical take on consumer society.
This exhibition brings together a series of his sculptures, which are reconstructions of composers such as Bach, Mozart and Beethoven as though they are robots.
Visitors will be able to sit on chairs produced by Danish designer Hans Wegner and enjoy looking the works while listening to music played on Bang&Olufsen speakers.
