Mandala Exhibition: The Buddahs of Tibet and Nepal

This exhibition explores the significance of mandalas in the contemporary world. A mandala is a generic term for any plan or geometric pattern which represents a microcosm of the universe from the human perspective. They originated in India more than 1500 years ago, and are still used in Tibet and Nepal today.
Performance art of sand painting by Tibetian monks is also planned.
