Masayoshi Sukita
The 22nd exhibition in the Time Tunnel Series that takes a look at the younger days of photographers and creators that are now at the front line of the art world.
Some of Masayoshi Sukita's more recognized works are: photographs of the debuts of T.REX and David Bowie in the 70's, advertisements for the male fashion brand 'Jazz', and YMO portraits.
The exhibition is split into two venues: Creation Gallery G8 and Guardian Garden.
The exhibition at Guardian Garden starts with the first photograph that Sukita ever took, a photo of his mother when he was in high school, and goes onto the serial photographs in the magazine "Daily Camera" (1970-1977). The series "Things the 20th Century Gave Me", which is the culmination of thirty years of taking photographs of vehicles and other transportation machines, will also be displayed for the first time.
