With the cooperation of the Japan Foundation and the Architectural Institute of Japan, the museum is holding an exhibition that looks at 110 works of contemporary architecture while comparing them to the state of society. There will be photographs, films and maquettes on display to show how Japanese architecture has evolved from the the so-called "bubble" period to the "post bubble" period.

私は「建築と言えばバウハウス」程度の浅い人間である。
身近にあるからこそ、心地よい空間を考える必要性、かつ場に馴染むような佇まいを仕掛け、また人との関わり合いの大きい建築って、ともすれば独りよがりになりがちな芸術とは違う視点を感じる。
