In 1965, the year before John Tremblay was born, MoMA in New York held the exhibition "The Responsive Eye" - the first demonstration of Optical Art.
Born in 1966, this Brooklyn-based artist has held exhibitions in America, France, Italy, Switzerland and Germany among others. He is inspired by Op Art, but also takes contemporary society as the object of his work. This is his first exhibition in Japan.
