Japanese Design after the War 1953-2005

Chiba City Museum of Art
Finished
The changes of designs from 1950 to present time will be examined through 400 items such as cars, cameras, stop signs, and makeup packages designed by the graduates of Faculty of Engineering at Chiba University.
The predecessor of the Faculty of Engineering at Chiba University was Tokyo Engineering School, and they have a long tradition of design education. Many excellent designers of household appliances, interior decorating, and advertisement have graduated from that school.
