This is an exhibition of installation work by Hitoshi Nishiyama. In the summer of 2005, he held an open workshop at Fuchu Art Museum and then took part in a three-person show at Tokyo Wondersite Shibuya, which received critical acclaim. For this show, he has surpassed the endeavours of the previous exhibition: he is using the man-made material of styrofoam, he has created what at first glance appears to be a natural environment but is actually a completely man-made, abstract space. An art market called "Slowpink" is being held inside Tokyo Wondersite Shibuya, where visitors can buy his artworks.

Hitoshi Nishiyama: "White Out"

If it were the middle of summer right now – 35 degrees and rising outside – then I would definitely recommend going to Hitoshi Nishiyama’s “White Out” installation to cool down.
