New works to the theme of "Jesuits" will be on display for Belgian painter Luc Tuyman's third solo exhibition. Tuyman's artwork is tranquil, with quiet colors that express his thoughts, simply and directly. His motifs vary from daily objects to historical and social issues. All emotional aspects are cut out from the canvas, leaving behind a lingering memory of the pure impact of the image itself.
His virility, sceptical stance towards art, and meticulous attention to detail continues to influence a new generation of artists.
There will be an opening reception on May 12th 18:00-20:00.
