This event has ended.
At Printing Museum
Media: Graphics, Prints

At the beginning of the 20th century, the media that had the most impact on the masses was the poster. Many creative posters were produced to recruit soldiers and raise loans for World War One, especially in the United States. At the same time, printing technology made great bounds from planographic printing to photochemical engraving. This exhibition will introduce American society at the time it was heading for war, poster artists, and printing technology through the propaganda poster collection of the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies.
