AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) is an association of graphic designers that was established in 1952 in Paris to create a network of leading designers around the globe. They currently have more than 360 members from 28 countries, and hold annual conventions at a different place each time. This year's convention will be held in Tokyo.
To celebrate, Creation Gallery G8 will hold an exhibition of new posters by the Japanese members of AGI to the theme of "AGI" and "Welcome to Japan". In conjunction with this event, there will be an exhbition of hanging scrolls at the Ginza Graphic Gallery and Kyoto Seika University, as well as a display of works at the P&P Gallery.
