In celebration of June 10th, 'Milk Caramel Day', this exhibition will trace the history of post-war advertising through milk caramel posters, packages, and ads.
When Morinagawa & Co. started selling caramels in Japan for the first time, they also made history with their novel advertisments. Their main product, milk caramels, were sold at Morinaga Candy Store in Marunouchi Building. The neon tower with a globe at top became the symbol of Ginza in post-war Japan, and milk caramels were the toast of the town.
