Artists

Kiyoshi Kuroda
Kiyoshi Kuroda is acknowledged as a rare illustrator due to his beautiful and delicate drawings. His works, based on his aesthetic of black ink drawing, are gaining popularity in the youth culture scene, which is closely related to fashion and music. However, there are few people who have ever directly felt the power of his drawings as most of his works are made with data processing software such as Illustrator.

At this exhibition, his 5th solo exhibition, he draws a story of “life and death” mainly with his handmade painting. It tells the history of his gentle and perceptive observance of the lives of insects and animals, whether short-lived or long-lived, which Kuroda has been interested in consistently since he was a child.
