The competition is held every year, in March, in Leipzig, Germany. The judges examine about 700 works from 30 countries or so to select the most beautiful of the year. Every entry has overcome the limitations inherent in mass printing, in one way or another.
This international exhibition introduces some 200 award-winning titles published in the last 15 years, from 1991 to 2005. The exhibition comes to its finale in Tokyo after debuting in Frankfurt (Germany) and moving on to Seoul (South Korea), Tallin (Estonia), and Shanghai (China).
