The Scandinavian Stylish Design

Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum
Finished
140 Arabic pots that are typical of Scandinavian regions will be displayed to trace the history of design through Finland pottery.
Designer cutlery featuring the popular Moomin characters will also be exhibited.
In 1873, the Arabia Art Department was started in the Arabian region outside of Helsinki as an umbrella studio under Sweden's Rorstrand. With a stream of high quality design from their talented artists, they turned independant in 1916. They are now a highly recognized national symbol, with products that are essential to the daily lives of Finnish people.
