Mikołaj Poliński
On display for Mikołaj Poliński's first solo exhibition in Japan are two series of installations featuring drawings: "Six Days in Paradise" and "Journey to the Paradise".
Poliński is an up-and-coming artist born in Poznań, Poland in 1977. He exhibits mainly in Poland and Germany and is involved in numerous projects. Influences that he has named include Cubism, contemporary artist Kazimir Malevitch, and musician Witold Lutosławski. The artist aims to express his inner world directly through his works by suppressing any impurity found in the real world.
