This exhibition introduces visitors to sculptural works made by Japanese artists, using stainless steel, aluminium and a variety of other materials. On show will be works by Minami Tada, who polishes his stainless steel sculptures until they have a sense of transparency about them, works by Morio Shinoda who uses lightweight aluminium to create works imbued with tension and photographic acrylic plate works by Kosuke Kimura.
By observing the variety of fresh expression made by these sculptors, this exhibition is an opportunity for visitors to see the interrelationships between material and form.
