Soju Tao paints, sings, reads poetry and performs in events self-organized through an entity called Hachimoku Shoukai.
Michiro Tokushige presents his new paintings from last year, which depict imaginary gardens. There is a place in Hokkaido called Todowara which is lined with Todomatsu (Todo pine trees). Tokushige's landscapes are like Todowara, only they do not capture the seemingly dead scenery, but gently render a vision out of this world.
