Survivart has begun this year, to the concept of "money isn't everything, so let's think about money". It is a framework that focuses on economy and community in order to "survive" (in Latin, SUR + vivre : surpass and live) in an unforgiving society.

Survivart will directly address the keyword "money", the open and honest discussion of which has been avoided within the Japanese art scene. It especially supports young artists' activity through managing and promoting exhibitions or projects, and focusing on community networks.
