Artists

Taku Aramasa
Born in 1936 in Sugamo, Tokyo, Taku Aramasa started out as an art director and worked as a photographer for the advertising industry after 1970. A letter that he received in 1978 from his birth mother, from whom he was separated in Manchuria right after the war, acted as a catalyst to his chosen media and he started to regard photographs as a way to express himself.

Two new series "Aramasa Sakura" and "To the Sea.. and beyond" as well as works from all of the series that Aramasa has produced since he debuted as a photographer will be on display.
