Kengo Kito creates works with his skillful use of familiar everyday objects (like hula hoops, rubber bands and mirrors), bold treatment of space and refined sensitivity. In his second exhibition at the gallery, he presents an installation based on his hula hoops; this infinitely expanding work shows a new step.
Based in Kyoto, Robert Platt exhibits his work for the first time at Gallery Koyanagi. On his canvases where abstract and representative influences intertwine, an original world takes form. This exhibition will feature 3 of his new large format paintings.
