With "light and shade" - one the starting points for photographic art - as its theme, this exhibition takes a look at photographic expression from a variety of points of view, in light of diversification with the arrival of digital photography in recent years. Taking photographs, video works by Japanese photographers as well as other resource materials from the museum's collection, the exhibition will also present the latest for of some of the world's leading photographers, revealing to visitors the new possibilities within photography and film.

•"Light and Shade" Cafe + Gallery Talk:
To coincide with this exhibition, artists taking part in this exhibition are being invited to talk about their work and their artistic activities.
