Jean Claude Wouters is an artist based in both Belgium and Paris. He is currently working in the medium of black and white photography, but it is perhaps best to simply call him an artist. Wouters started his artistic career with performance as a member of Maurice Béjart's Ballet company and has gone on to work in many fields. Wouters first showed his photography in Japan last year to great success. Rather than using digital methods to process his images, he uses darkroom techniques to alter his photographs. Wouters was named one of "five photographers you must know" by Mac Power Magazine this year, and has worked on collaborations with the popular New York designer Marc Jacobs. This exhibition presents 15 portraits and nudes.
