Takeshi Honjo

Takeshi Honjo (1906-1993) was born in Nezakama in Hiratsuka City, studied under Sanko Inoue and Yukihiko Yasuda, and was a central figure in the Shunyokai Society of Western Painting both before and after the war.

This exhibition is putting on display some of his most important oil paintings and sketches.

Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Year holidays.

Adults ¥200; University and High School Students ¥100; Junior High School Students and under Free; High School Students free on 2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month; Disabled people from Hiratsuka City + Over 65s Free.
