The Minneapolis Institute of Arts is one of the leading comprehensive museums in the U.S. with a very fine collection of Japanese art. They hold more than 3000 ukiyoe mainly from the collection of Richard Gale. Selected 250 pieces from their large collection are introduced in this exhibition, including works that are on view for the first time.
