Ophelia, from Shakespeare's Hamlet is one of the best known tragic female figures, but has also had an influence on the styles of young women in Japan. This exhibition explores issues raised by the figure of Ophelia, with works by both female and male artists who present works that seek out a way to grow beyond girlishness.
