Maeko Sato "Catchers"
This event has ended.
At Loophole
Media: Installation, Art Party
In the process of creating an installation, Maeko Sato often buries herself under piles of paper. She holds a "dialogue" by physically being surrounded by her materials. In the installation, a room filled with pieces of paper and smudged paint, each of the marks is the result of this conversation. Sato's work appears to be an expressionist piece, but it is more about the complex relationship between the artist, her materials, and the surrounding elements of light and sound.
