"Embroidery of the World" Exhibition

Embroidery has been valued as an art form all over the world for many years. Aesthetic styles unique to different regions can be detected in the diverse patterns created using only a needle and thread. Japanese embroidery depicting scenes from the four seasons, warm patterns that speak of the lifestyles and wishes of every day life in Asia and Africa, the luxurious patterns created by Europe's consummate craftsmen will be on display along with explanations of the technique that resulted in the works.

Gallery Talks: November 10th (Sat), December 1st (Sat)
-Each session starts at 13:30.
-Maximum Capacity is 30 people.

Opening Hours Information

Hours	10:00-16:30 On two Fridays within the exhibition period, the venue is open until 19:00 (please confirm by phone)
Closed	Sunday, Holidays Closed during the summer, New Year holidays and in between exhibitions.
Notice	Open November 3rd and 4th. Open until 19:00 November 16th and December 7th.

Fee

Adults ¥500, University and High School Students ¥300, Elementary and Junior High School Students ¥200, Persons with Disability Certificates + 1 Companion free.
