Murauchi Museum holds an annual summer program for children titled "Children's Museum". This program aims at providing children with an experience of art though worksheets and telling stories. The sculpture program is a hands-on workshop that aims to foster creativity.
[Exploring the Museum]
August 11th (Sat) & August 18th (Sat)
Challenge quiz through adventuring through the museum!
10:30-12:00 for 1st to 3rd grade students & their parents.
14:00-15:30 for 4th to 6th grade students.
Fee: Free (Entrance ticket required. Adults ¥600, Free for kids)
Things to bring: Pencil & note pad
*Reservation required
[Let's Become a Sculptor!]
August 12th (Sun) & August 19th (Sun)
Using paper clay, let's make figures!
14:00- (about 2 hours)
For elementary school students
Fee: ¥300
Things to bring: Towel, a box to bring the artwork home.
Limited to 10 participants
*Reservation required.
Japanese guidance only.
