The solo exhibition of Satoshi Ohno will be the last exhibition to be held at Magical in Roppongi. Ohno previously participated in the group exhibition "Worm Hole Episode1" in 2006. He showed a live painting performance as well as his other works. After the exhibition, his works were exhibited at Magic Room? in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa where his works caught the attention of gallerist Tomio Koyama who held Ohno's solo exhibition at his gallery as well as the Armory Show in New York. Recently Ohno has exhibited his works inside and outside Japan. His recent exhibitions include "Ritual" held at Wondersite Shibuya, and an exhibition in Hawaii.

Although Ohno is known for his dynamic installations, this exhibition features five circle paintings each of which has a diameter of 180cm. He says, "I would like to visualize the images from my experience of visiting a primeval forest in drawings and photographs through my bodily senses, and I condense the trace of perception into paintings and paint each scene symbolically." He seeks to make paintings as powerful as his installations. Drawings and solid works will be exhibited on the 4th floor also.
