Ai-zome initiated in India and was brought to Japan through China in the Asuka era. The modern dyeing technique was developed a few hundred years later during the Muromachi era. A two-person artist group Litmus will dye ARTS&SCIENCE items to display. As a special event, viewers will be able to order colors of their choice from the custom "ai" color combination samples available at the venue.
