Yokohama Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

Yusuke Asai
Artist Yusuke Asai was born in 1981, and graduated from Yabe High School Art & Ceramic Course in 1999. He resides in Yokohama and has been actively creating works. Asai is known for his "Masking Plants" projects in which he creates installations on walls, floor, and ceilings placing masking tapes and drawing organic motifs over them. What appears in the space are plants growing in the space and animals peeking out unexpectedly. These "plants" will be collected at the end of the exhibition period and displayed as if they are samples of real plants and seeds.
