Creative Tea Ceremony "Go-Shikikai" Exhibition

The University Art Museum - Tokyo University of the Arts
Finished
This exhibition commemorates the 120th anniversary of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music, and is part of the "Geidai-Sakai" event. Blue, red, yellow, white, and black are the theme colors from which five professors from the university produce settings for a tea ceremony.

The "Shikikai" from the exhibition title "Go-Shikikai," comes from the middle division of the Buddhist successive levels of meditation, in which the mind is still possessed within the material world, but reaching the state beyond desire.
