The artist has traveled the countries of monsoon Asia such as India, Thailand, Laos, Indonesia and Okinawa to witness the moment that fabric comes to be. Along the way she encountered fabrics and textile crafts by 12 artists. In March, the story of her journey was published in a book entitled "Fabric of the Soul: 12 Female Artists of Monsoon Asia". Works on display in this exhibition will include portraits of the 12 artists, textile crafts and an installation of green bamboo textile by Yoshiko Jinzenji.
