Artists

Saori Miyake
Saori Miyake (1975-) mainly works in photography and painting. Some of her most characteristic works are photograms created by drawing dots directly on the surface of film, placing the film on photo paper, and then exposing it to light. She also paints with ink on aluminum sheets, incorporating printmaking techniques that she learned in school. She is interested in the relationship between sensuality and emotion. In her work, these subtle feelings are accumulated to form a powerful whole.

Approximately 10 photograms and aluminum works are on display.
