At HAP Art et Vin
Media: Painting

Utilizing Japanese paper and mineral pigments as his medium, Sakuraba tries to bring out the expressive qualities that lie within, also freeing his paintings from the unnatural constraints of picture frames. The artist has been trying to create a form of painterly expression that has the energy of a magnetic field, and in recent years he has collaborated with architects to produce art works that explore the possibilities of space. He has, over many years, exhibited his work in Germany, France, America, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey.
