"Kichijo" stands for happiness and a sign of good fortune. Traditionally, Japanese people hang paintings that bring good luck to the family for the New Year holidays. This exhibition presents Chinese antique ceramics, metal works and Japanese crafts in addition to paintings to celebrate a happy new year.
