Hiroko Ohsugi "Blue Obelisk"

Daikanyama Hillside Forum

This event has ended.

This calligrapher was a student of Shizuoka Prefecture's Yuukei Teshima who helped spread Japanese calligraphy all over the world. After she graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University, she has been displaying works domestically and abroad that question the potential of calligraphy as a contemporary art. In this exhibition, new works using brilliant blue ink taking the motif of ancient Egyptian "obelisks" will be on display.
