"52 Years of 'Shitsunai (Interiors)' - What Natsuhiko Yamamoto Left Behind" Exhibition

LIXIL Gallery 1 & 2
Finished
"Shitsunai" is an interior magazine that columnist Natsuhiko Yamamoto started in 1955. This exhibition looks back through the magazine's 52-year history until it was discontinued in March 2006. The focus of the magazine has always been journalism for people who work with tools in their hands. Numerous architects and designers have been discovered and first featured in this publication, and many of its articles have been republished in book form. Serialized articles, special features and letters from readers will be reproduced, as well as objects and tools featured over the years in the magazine.

Please visit the gallery website for details of the works on display and talks being held (Japanese only).
