The Ueno Hikoma Awards - Kyushu Sangyo University Photo Contest's aims are the discovery and nurturing of young photographers in the 21st century. The contest is in its 8th year. and 1758 works in the adult section and 2309 in the high school and junior high school section were submitted, totaling the highest ever 4067 submissions from around the country.

Schedule	Dec 1 (Sat) 2007-Dec 9 (Sun) 2007  Opening Hours Information Hours 10:00-18:00 Closes at 20:00 on Thursdays and Fridays. Closed Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Years holidays.
