The 10 Days Selection Special Exhibition is INAX Gallery's second exhibition based on a open call for submissions, and this is the 9th version of it. 2 artists' works will be on show out of the 150 submitted.
Shichino's works are installations based on the motif of water. Light is cast on the water's surface, which trembles gently with water drops that fall from handmade water pipes to the bathtub, and the water's shadow cast on the wall is shown as film footage. The faint, shimmering heat haze-like ripples are experienced through the five senses; this artist's work expresses the wonder, mystique and grandeur of nature. This is his first exhibition in Tokyo.
