Sachiko Kazama creates woodblock prints uniquely exploring the "history" that constructs "today." What stands out the most in her work is the gray-toned gradations. Woodblock printmaking is often characterized by its clear black and white contrast, but her prints are mainly occupied with gray in a wide range of tones, representing ambiguity. "Manchuria Railroad" is the main theme of the works presented in this exhibition.
