UNEP + UNIC Collaborative Exhibition "Global Warming"

UN Gallery
Finished
This is a collaborative photographic exhibition between the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Information Center (UNIC) taking as its theme one of the UN's most critical issues, global warming. Photographs on exhibit are from the 2007 World Environment Day photographic exhibition held in Norway and also selected from the UNEP's massive archives. 35 years since "World Environment Day" was established at the 1972 UN General Assembly, this year's World Environment Day's theme is "Melting Ice - Hot Theme?" It is a direct expression of the seriousness of the world's environmental problems. This exhibition is held to communicate the issues and the impact that global warming has on human society and the earth.
