This is the 11th "Galeria Ceramica Summer." Galeria Ceramica is known for its exhibitions that communicate one artist's message using the entire gallery space, but just for the month of August, artists are asked to create "life size" works. Until 2005, approximately 100 works created by the 11 artists that held exhibitions at the gallery in the previous year were featured. This exhibition will be the first since the gallery closed for renovations in 2006, and works by 18 artists will be on display. This exhibition has been popular among museum goers because works that may be out of reach due to a circumstance such as size or practicality are now on display for enjoyment as well as purchase.
